National Pet Day Food and Supply Drive
We are excited to announce that from March 18th to April 10th, People First will be collecting essential items for animal food banks and shelters in our area.
On April 11th for National Pet Day, your contributions will be distributed among 5 local animal rescues and food banks that support the animals in our community. Let’s spread the word and inspire others to lend a helping hand.

Animal Food Bank of the Lehigh Valley
The Animal Food Bank of the Lehigh Valley is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, located in Emmaus, PA. Their mission is to keep companion animals in loving homes and prevent their surrender to the shelter system by supplying families with pet food in times of economic distress. Below is a list of items that can be dropped off at our 6th St. or Devonshire Branch.

The Center for Animal Health & Welfare is dedicated to providing a safe and healthy environment for animals. They make every effort to find loving homes for scared and lonely pets. Below is a list of items that can be dropped off at our Bethlehem Township or Nazareth Branch.

Freedom First Rescue
Freedom First Rescue pulls dogs from “death row” due to lack of space or medical reasons. They provide any kind of medical and behavioral aftercare that these dogs may need. They assess their temperament and personalities in their foster homes and will do everything they can to place these discarded dogs into loving forever homes. Below is a list of items that can be dropped off at our Bethlehem Branch.

The Sanctuary at Haafsville
The Sanctuary at Haafsville adheres to a No-Kill animal welfare philosophy which means they do not euthanize animals to create space. They partner with overcrowded shelters, rescue dogs and cats from natural disasters, accept dogs and cats from owners who need to relinquish them, and work to place animals into loving homes. Below is a list of items that can be dropped off at our Trexlertown Branch.

4 Wet and Dry Puppy Food: (ONLY Royal Canin Mother & Babydog or Puppy)
Starting Over Animal Rescue (SOAR)
Starting Over Animal Rescue’s mission is to help facilitate high-quality affordable spay/neuter for feral, stray, and house pets and to provide shelter to abused, neglected, and abandoned animals. Below is a list of items that can be dropped off at our Whitehall Branch.
